This class provides the student with the highest possible certification in Texas for an armed security guard. This also includes the semi-automatic handgun and riot shotgun clearance.
This license will allow students to secure employment anywhere throughout the security field.
Former Dallas Police Officer, Former Dallas County Constable, Texas CHL Instructor since Sept 1995, Texas Level 3 Security Guard Instructor since June 2010. I am also a certified NRA Range Safety Officer, a Certified TCLEOSE Firearms Instructor, maintain an Intermediate Peace Officer Certification, and a graduate of Dale Carnegie Public Speaking Course. The Range Safety Officer that works for me is also NRA Certified.
We offer security guard and concealed handgun classes. Each class is recognized in the state of Texas and you can work anywhere you would like once you have obtained the security guard Certification.

Step 1: Schedule a Class

You will need to pay for the class at the time of enrollment.
Step 2: State Application
The state application can be filled out and turned in either before or after the class.
You will need to visit the State's concealed handgun license online application. You must fill out the application and pay the fee. In addition, you need to bring the page with the barcode on it to your class. You need this paper to send in your paperwork for the CHL 100.
Step 3: Fingerprints
We explain this in class. Do not apply for your fingerprints until after you have completed you application. Come to class first.
Level 2 position is for the unarmed
guards. The class is completed in one
day beginning at 9:00 AM AND ENING
AROUND 3:00 pm
